We concluded the 2022-23 season at PPG Paints Arena!

Join us at the Goalie Game!

It will be *goalies only* geared up for this one-of-a-kind game that is *full on* for a cause… Pittsburgh ICE. The inaugural Goalie Game will have local goalies go mask-to-mask in a head-to-head battle coached by Pittsburgh celebrities.

Get your tickets today to assist Pittsburgh I.C.E., an organization committed to bringing the great game of hockey to children of all socioeconomic backgrounds, and get ready for an evening of on-ice action… with a few twists too.

Attention Goalies...we're looking for goalies who want to play and can help raise money for Pittsburgh I.C.E. Your chance to score a goal AND make a difference. Fundraising will likely include asking friends, family, and every person that texted you 'can you sub tomorrow?!' (A larger donation is expected from ~that guy~ in warm-ups who always puts one off your mask). The game will serve as the largest annual fundraiser for Pittsburgh I.C.E., the region's only no-cost hockey program.

Pittsburgh I.C.E., Inclusion Creates Equality, is an NHL "Hockey is for Everyone"™ program, committed to offering children of all socio-economic backgrounds the opportunity to learn to play the game of ice hockey. The Hockey Is For Everyone initiative leverages the sport of hockey as a catalyst to help children learn essential life skills, education and the core values of hockey: commitment, perseverance, and teamwork. Although hockey is our primary mission, our other goals are to teach leadership skills, commitment to education, and community service.

Pittsburgh I.C.E., formerly called Hockey in the Hood, launched its inaugural season on December 4th 2000, with a grant from the National Hockey League and the Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni. The ICE program was developed under the umbrella of the National Hockey League's Diversity Task Force.

For the past 24 seasons, Pittsburgh I.C.E. programs have provided ice hockey Learn to Play programs, skills development and competitive opportunities to over 1,500 kids throughout Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania.
