Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Pittsburgh ICE team! Thanks to the generous support of volunteers like you, our athletes continue to achieve success both on and off the ice.

We have volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups, teams and those completing service projects.  We welcome both on-ice and off-ice volunteers. There is always a need for helping hands and we can tailor volunteer opportunities to your interests and talents.

As a volunteer, there are certain requirements for coaches, on-ice and off-ice volunteers. Please help us keep our kids safe by completing the following requirements.

On-Ice Volunteers:

On-Ice volunteers help coaches coordinate and facilitate drills, retrieve pucks, move nets and help our athletes on-ice.

To register, on-ice volunteers must complete:

All volunteers who are 18 years of age or older must also complete background checks as part of USA Hockey and Pennsylvania State requirements.

Off-Ice Volunteers:

Off-ice volunteers help with registering new players, equipment fitting, helping players on and off the ice and organizing equipment.

All volunteers who are 18 years of age or older must also complete background checks as part of USA Hockey and Pennsylvania State requirements.
